Document Presentation: You now have 24/7 access to electronic copies of your business and personal financial documents via your NetClient CS online portal.
1040 Organizer: You now have a convenient way to access your organizer and assemble your tax information; you can either download, print and return your information as before or upload your tax documents to us via your portal.
Historical Tax Return Storage: We offer you a private and secure portal to access an electronic copy of your completed tax returns for up to 7 years using Document Presentation.
Announcing the NetClient CS Mobile App
Available as a free download to Apple® or Android devices, the NetClient CS mobile app offers you on the go access to the services and content we have made available. You can now access and view tax returns, financial statements, and other documents pushed to NetClient CS by Hollis Kuckelman VanDeVeer, Chtd, as well as online accounting and payroll services, payroll data, and much more. This convenient app is a mobile extension of NetClient CS client portal services making it even easier for you to connect with us and do business anywhere, anytime.
How to Begin Using NetClient CS
1. Provide your preferred email address to us as soon as possible by emailing us at (email@example.com), by phone to Debbi (913-782-0616), or when visiting our office.
2. You will then receive an email from us thru NetClient, directing you to follow the provided link and set up a login ID (we recommend you use your email address) and a password.
3. Visit our website www.hkvcw.com, and click “Client Portal”. The login page will provide a place to insert your login ID and password. If you forget your password, click on “Forgot Password” and you will have an opportunity to reset it; we will not have access to your password, only you will know that information. If you forget your login ID, please email us and we will provide that to you.
4. Once you are logged in, your portal home page will open. To the left you will note two sections: “File Exchange” and “Document Presentation” which is a list of folders containing documents.
5. “File Exchange” is a series of folders for us and you to send each other documents (e.g., letters from the IRS), data files (e.g., QuickBooks backup files), spreadsheets (e.g., Excel files), or just about anything that is capable of being uploaded by you (e.g., prior year tax returns for new clients).
6. To use File Exchange to send us a file, simply click on any of the provided folders, look for “upload”, click on it and a box will open up. Click “add files”, then browse to the place on your computer that contains the file you are sending (e.g., your desktop), and click “Start upload”. Within seconds we are notified of a file waiting for us in the portal.
7. When we send you a file thru File Exchange, you will also be immediately notified at your registered email address. If you have installed the NetClient CS app on your iPhone, iPad, or Android, you will also immediately be notified on your device. Unlike email, there is no file size limitation to what we can send to each other. Periodically we delete files on File Exchange, but only following a reasonable length of time.
8. Document Presentation is intended for us to send you pdf copies of tax returns, financial statements, and other reports that we intend to leave for you in your portal so that when the occasion rises where you need copies of tax returns, for example, all you need to do is download the documents. The documents will be clearly labeled so that you can readily identify what is residing in your portal. We no longer use email to send personal financial or tax data to you; when the rare occasion arises whereby a third party (e.g., a bank) requires a document, and you don’t have internet or computer access and require our assistance, we use special temporary encryption programs to protect our transmission to the third party.
Locating your Organizer
Beginning with this tax year, 2017, if we have an e-mail address for you, we have placed an electronic copy of the Organizer in the portal. After you login to your personal portal, you will see the reference to the Organizer easily located on the left side of the portal home page. Click on the orange "Tax Org" notation and you will be directed to the online Organizer. From here you have the option to fill out the information online or print a pdf copy. The completion of the Organizer is not mandatory, and is only provided to assist you in accumulating all of your required tax documents and information. As always we will need your original source documents (or copies/uploads) in order to complete your return as required by IRS standards. For 2018 and thereafter, if you would rather receive the printed Organizer via the U.S. mail, please notify us of your preference and we will mail that to you immediately.
Engagement Letter and Electronic Signature
We are in the process of enabling eSignature for your Engagement Letter and income tax documents which will enable you to electronically sign and return documents to us. Please visit our eSignature tab on this website for more information and a short video on this process.

All communications between our firm and the user are encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). This is the same functionality used by banks and popular e-commerce services for secure communication. We also store your files encrypted when they are at rest on our servers, adding an additional layer of security. To protect against data loss, our servers are equipped with technology that automatically mirrors all data in real-time to two separate locations. Regular incremental and full backups of all system data are performed, including off-site data backups stored in two separate secure physical locations, to protect against almost all disaster scenarios.
